Companionship
Daughter4aDay engages your parent in conversation, stimulating their memory and intellect by discussing past and current experiences. We use relaxation techniques, chair yoga, music appreciation and other activities that they have participated in. Crossword puzzles, scrabble, picture albums, personal collections or games may also be utilized.
Transportation
Daughter4aDay accompanies clients to medical appointments, serving as an advocate in the doctor's office, if desired, museums, theater, lunches, shopping, religious functions, weddings and other personalized destinations as the client desires. No more worries about waiting for Public Transportation or needing to be on the schedule of a housing facility.
Scheduling
All appointments with doctors, dentists, podiatrists, dermatologists can be made and a reminder given. We will set up medication reminders and renew/ pick up prescriptions as necessary. Daughter4aDay will also schedule a lunch or bridge game with your old friends and provide the transportation for them as well.
Transitional Care
Daughter4aDay provides non-medical companion services to seniors including those recovering from surgery, an illness, who have limited mobility or who need extra help. In situations where a client has age-related medical need beyond our capabilities, we can present options for a situation that can better serve them. Options include 24 hour live-in care, hourly care, senior housing or long-term care facilities.
Food Preparation
Our culinary expertise will serve to please any palette. Whether a client has a dietary restriction or is accustomed to gourmet food, we are ready to prepare it. From grilled cheese to welsh rarebit our chef will cook in your home for the best possible result.

ABOUT US
Nancy has her Masters of Education in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University. Expressive Therapy utilizes dance, music and art to stimulate the senses. Her first position upon graduation was as a Recreational Therapist at Pilgrim House nursing home in Peabody, MA. She has been actively involved in the geriatric field for over 25 years. For over 10 years she was Community Outreach and Marketing Director for Orchard Cove, Continuing Care Retirement Community, a property of Hebrew Senior Life in Canton, MA. Most recently she was the Marketing Director at Boylston Place Assisted Living in Chestnut Hill, MA. Ms. Burakoff resides in Andover, MA.
